Luke and Jose Remix Competition - Results!
Back in September, Luke Leighfield and Jose Vanders released a cover of Blindsided by Bon Iver (free download here) and launched a remix competition via SoundCloud. There were well over 70 entries, hence why it has taken so long for Luke and Jose to reach a verdict! However, the results are below. Click on the names of the remixers to hear the remixes.
Massive congratulations to all of the people named below - it was extremely hard for Luke and Jose to pick a winner due to the vast quantity of amazing remixes that were entered, and there were still many more exceptional remixes amongst the entries that aren’t listed below. Have You Got Heart? - The Video.
Hey chums. Next Sunday (11th September) I’m shooting a video for ‘Have You Got Heart?’ with my friend, Duncan, and I need your help. I’m looking for:
- People to be in a crowd scene at a house in Southampton in the late afternoon/early evening.
- People to be in various band scenes throughout the day (we’d need you all day). We especially need brass players (trumpet and trombone) and string players (violin, viola and cello). You don’t need to be incredible, because it’s only miming, but you do need to be able to mime convincingly!
There’s no money available because I’m not really very rich, but if you do take part I’ll hook you up with some discount codes for my shop and buy you some sweets or something. Everyone there will be really friendly and you will probably have a nice day. Probably.
So, if you want to take part, please email me on luke@lukeleighfield.com with your name, age, mobile number, and which role you want to play (band or crowd) and someone (either me or another important person) will be in touch soon with more details.
